WHMIS 2015- GHS

Designed to exceed the stringent NEW standards set by Ontario’s Chief Prevention Officer on April 1, 2024, this comprehensive training program equips participants with essential knowledge and practical skills necessary to navigate elevated work environments with confidence and caution.

COURSE STANDARDS

This course is intended to help workers and employers in the construction industry comply with the training requirements as outlined in the Working at Heights Standard set out by the Chief Prevention Officer of Ontario.

WHAT YOU GET

Upon successful completion of both the theory practical modules, participants receive a wallet certificate of completion and are registered in the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development (MLITSD) database. NEW OPERATOR LIFT TRUCK (NOLT)

ABOUT THIS COURSE

This 8-hour New Operator Lift Truck (NOLT) certification course is designed for individuals who have not had previous lift truck experience; participants require a solid understanding of their rights and responsibilities prior to operating a lift truck for the first time. The course aims to reduce the risks related to all classes of lift truck by teaching participants how to recognize associated hazards and how to apply the fundamentals of safe operating procedures.

MOBILE ELEVATING WORK PLATFORMS OPERATOR (MEWP)

ABOUT THIS COURSE

This Mobile Elevating Work Platform – Boom & Scissor course aims to reduce the risks related to straight telescoping boom, articulating boom, and scissor lift type mobile elevated work platforms (MEWPs) by teaching you how to recognize associated hazards and how to apply the fundamentals of safe operating procedures.

WHMIS-GHS 2015

ABOUT THIS COURSE

WHMIS stands for Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System. It is a Canada-wide system that provides employers and workers with information on the hazardous products that are stored and used on work sites. This WHMIS-GHS 2015 course covers key elements, including pictograms, supplier and workplace labels, safety data sheets, and worker training. This course provides an understanding of WHMIS, responsibilities, key components, the hazards WHMIS protects workers from, pictograms, hazard classifications, supplier and workplace labels, and safety data sheets.

This course is intended to help workers and employers comply with the education requirements as outlined in: Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and associated Regulation.
